The Mayfair “Incident” and Southridge Mall

On January 2, Mayfair Mall was “locked down” after “throngs” of young people smashed signs, knocked over displays and dodged mall security. A gunshot and attempted armed robbery was also reported by Wauwatosa police.

An interesting eye-witness account reported on the Business Journal’s website references Southridge Mall and the proposed redevelopment. The writer comments that Mayfair may lose business to a redeveloped Southridge Mall. Click here.
