A big, red piece of Greendale’s history is returning home. The 1938 Diamond T Model 509s fire engine that was used by the Village of Greendale Fire Department in 1938 — and for many years following — was donated to the Greendale Historical Society by Steven Cohrs of New Jersey earlier this week.
