“Minions” to Take Over Gazebo Park on June 18

“Minions” are silly and goofy and they will be conquering Gazebo Park as Movie Night at the Gazebo kicks off on Saturday, June 19. Showtime is 9 p.m.

The film follows three Minions, Kevin, Stuart, and Bob, who have left their tribe of Minions in order to find a place in the world working as henchman for a powerful, evil being. Luckily, the Minions find a place beside the Scarlet and Herb Overkill (Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm), who are plotting to take over the world. Minions grossed more than $1 billion in theaters and is currently the 11th-highest grossing movie of all time.

Movie Nights at Gazebo Park is presented by the Greendale Park and Recreation Department who has partnered with Grandhaven LLC, Love Thy Neighbor Foundation, Seasons of the Heart and Gift of Wings to bring a free, three-part movie series to historic downtown Greendale from June until September.

Popcorn, food, and refreshments will be available including hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, non-alcoholic beverages and other items. There is no charge for the movies and people are invited to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. In the event of inclement weather, the movies will be screened at Greendale High School.
