Greendale Public Library Foundation Seeking Volunteers; Board Members

The Greendale Public Library Foundation has immediate openings for volunteer board members. The Foundation is a nonprofit group that raises money for story times and reading programs for children and adults, as well as for e-readers and other technology for the Greendale Public Library.

Board members attend meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and volunteer as able for two to three large events each year: the February book sale, August book sale, and other fundraisers and celebrations.

The Foundation is seeking volunteers who have any one of the following abilities: social media, event planning, photography, accounting, experience working with local schools and businesses or just enthusiasm about the library.
For info on interviewing and test-driving a board meeting before committing, please email Jennifer Motl, foundation president at [email protected].
