Closed Meeting for School Board to Consider Superintendent Candidates

The Greendale school board will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on February 15 followed with a closed session for the purpose of “consideration of applicants for employment for the District’s Superintendent”.

The board’s regular meeting features a light agenda with reports from the Greendale Education Foundation, an Athletic and Co-curricular report and an update from the Greendale Park and Recreation Department.

The Park and Recreation Department projects total revenue for the 2015-16 fiscal year at $935,536 (compared to $890,300 in 2014-15). Program fees and child care fees provide 98.96% of its operational budget.

The meeting will be held in the Library at Greendale High School at 7 p.m.

Any update on the hiring of our next Superintendent of Schools?

Silence and dead space is deafening.

Once again, nothing from the Trusty’s.

We have seen this over and over.

Make a decision. And be transparent with us.

We get the trustys we deserve. We voted for them and they keep doing what they keep doing.

  2. Anthony

This decision does not need to be made in a hurry. Let the truth come out around all the applicants to provide extra assurance this is the right decision. A rush to judgement is the highway to a bad judgement. Each of the applicants have assets and debits.

The District’s pick for Administrator signed the Recall Governor Walker Petition. This is has been the chatter in Greendale for several days and is now public.

Pray the Board of Education has found this out and is weighing their options.

Trying to go to a rumored referendum led by a new Administrator who is against Governor Walker in Greendale is not going to pass.

  3. Richard

We get the Trustee’s we deserve. We elected them.

They get to decide the fate of the Greendale School District.

Aren’t you glad those five Trustee’s get to decide the future of the Greendale School District?

They are the best we can do?
