Village to Capture Digital Images of Houses, Businesses

The Village Assessor’s Office has announced that beginning mid-November; members of the staff will be in the field capturing digital images of houses and businesses in the Village. This task will bring the Village in compliance with Wisconsin Department of Revenue requirements on the electronic data that is to be maintained by Wisconsin municipalities. These images will assist the Assessor’s Office in establishing any 2016 and future assessments.

The Village currently contracts with Tyler Technologies’ Appraisal and Tax Division (Tyler) to perform assessor services for the Village. Staff members that are in the field capturing digital images will be employees of Tyler and will be carrying Village of Greendale Identification Badges. Their automobile information will also be registered with the Village Police Department.

If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact the Village Assessor at (414) 704-0647 or Village Hall at (414) 423-2100.
