Bloom ‘N Grow Preschool Enrolling Students

Greendale’s Bloom ‘N Grow Preschool is still enrolling students for the 2016-17 school year. Any child who turns 3, and is toilet trained, by September 1, 2016, may register. Bloom ‘N Grow classes are held in the Greendale Middle School in the Student Activity Center (SAC), 6800 Schoolway. Registration takes place at the Greendale Park & Recreation Department office, 5647 Broad Street, in the Community Learning Center.

The Bloom ‘N Grow preschool program implements the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards in a secure and nurturing environment. Its goal is to provide a positive first school experience for children. The program provides exploration opportunities in a variety of learning areas, including reading, language development, science, and math. All activities are age appropriate, allowing each child to develop at his/her own ability while setting a foundation for future learning and developing friendships and social skills.

Classes begin September 13, 2016, and run will until early May. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Easter and the observed days off for these holidays are excluded in addition to any Greendale School District closings. A parent orientation is held one week prior to the start of class. An open house for the children is held the week before class begins.

For more information and to register for Bloom ‘N Grow Preschool, please contact Greendale Park & Recreation at 4144232790 or visit http://gpr.greendale.k12.wi.us/preschool.html.
