Busalacchi Named Dean of Business at MATC

Dr. Richard Busalacchi recently was appointed dean of Milwaukee Area Technical College’s School of Business and its School of Media and Creative Arts (MCA). He has served in numerous leadership positions since he joined the college staff in 1991. Most recently, he was interim dean of the School of Business and the School of MCA, as well as interim dean of MATC’s Workforce Solutions (formerly called the Office of Workforce and Economic Development). Busalacchi will continue as acting dean of Workforce Solutions.

Busalacchi holds a doctorate in educational technology and distance education from Nova Southeastern University; a master’s degree in adult and vocational education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout; a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cardinal Stritch University; and an associate degree in marketing communications from MATC.

He is active in his community and recently was elected trustee for the Village of Greendale. He serves on many professional, civic and educational boards; and also is an adjunct faculty member at Cardinal Stritch University.
