Is the bubble starting to burst? When is the next election for school board members?? What are they hiding that they can’t post a video of their meetings? Get real, have you seen the flags & boots someone placed on the “memorial site” — Pretty impressive if you ask me! Think how great it would look if you 3” who have voted no, would say, “yes, yes, yes” let’s put it there. Let’s be proud of our vets & put this memorial where it will be seen!!!

Atwell, while your at it, why don’t you ask the district for how much they spent on lawyers fees to draw up that 75 year lease with the veterans?

If Village Residents have any say in this Veterans Memorial and it’s location, as agreed upon, it will be done as planned. School Board beware, the petitions are coming and beware of your next election day..

Why bring it to a vote? Knowing the vote will fail? Because then it at least shows everyone where each of the Board members stands. Otherwise, if they won’t vote yes, what do you do? Wait? Delay? That would be stringing everyone along, and the members in opposition would be unaccountable. That’s why you bring it to a vote. Now everyone knows exactly who it holding this back and who supports it.

I totally agreee pete. I’m glad Tharp and Crapitto decided to expose these three school board members for the lefty, anti-veteran liberals that they are.

Post the video Tharp and Crappitto. Post the video of every board meeting. We are a busy citizenry in Greendale. The Village post their video. You record every meeting.

Why won’t you post video’s of your meetings?

Mr. Attewell: Why don’t you file a Freedom of Information Act request politely respecting Mr. Crappitto and Mr. Tharp release a dvd or MP3 fileof each school board meeting up to and through last Monday’s meeting.

They have the video done. If they refuse, haul them into the court of law and court of public opinion.

Ask the three no voters on the veterans memorial if they don’t believe in the public’s right to know too

This village deserves more than this level of stonewalling.

Please post the meeting video Superintendent Tharp.

Please start placing every meeting video recording on your web site and on the Village TV Channel. We know you record each meeting.

Do this now before we the people start attending your meetings and put the video recordings on You Tube. Fill Attewell’s fia request.

Bill, thanks for your excellent reporting on this. I mostly agree with you, but I don’t know why you give the school board members the benefit of the doubt on their motivations. I’m not sure what more these three women could have done to show their disdain for local veterans and the military.

The part that bothers me most is that I moved to Greendale from Milwaukee 4 years ago in large part because of the school district. I have two children who will soon attend Greendale schools and I’m a tad worried the incompetent leadership might have infected the teachers and front line staff. I don’t know many successful organizations who have such rotten leadership (except maybe the NFL). This have been an eye-opening week.
