Jake’s Deli to Open at Southridge

jakes_logo_headerJake’s Deli, known for its signature sandwiches featuring hand-carved meats will open its third restaurant in the food court at Southridge Mall in December, the company said today.

Jake's Deli is a Milwaukee tradition that has been in continuous operation since 1955. The original building on North Avenue has been in Milwaukee since the early 1900s, originally as a butcher shop and then Cohen’s Deli. Jake Levin got involved in the business in 1953, and then in 1955 bought the deli and it officially became Jake's.

The deli is expected to open in December at the Greendale mall after Jake’s signed a seven-year lease, the release said.
