Village Offers Appliance and Furniture Curbside Pick Up Program

The Greendale Department of Public Works is ‘piloting’ a new program for Greendale residents to have appliances and furniture picked-up at curbside for a small fee. Reader’s Digest Files for Bankruptcy, Again

Readers Digest which employs about 250 persons in Greendale, has filed for bankruptcy for the second time since 2009. The magazine’s parent, RDA Holding, filed for Chapter 11 protection late on Sunday in another effort to cut down the debt that has plagued the pocket-size publication for years. Emerald Ash Borer Confirmed in Greendale

On February 12, 2013 the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture confirmed the presence of an Emerald Ash Bore Beetle on a tree within the Village of Greendale at 43rd Street and Ramsey.
